LHS Girls Golf (#1)

The girls golf team starts the season off for the Braves this year with a road match vs. Righetti (Rancho Maria GC 2:30 pm thursday, 30 Aug 07).
Coach Tom Garrard , returning to the helm after a year away from coaching, is mildly optimistic about his charges; even though so far only 5 of the 12 players who have signed up for the team have had all their eligibility paperwork cleared .
Three of those five are experienced seniors from last years varsity squad- Citvali Rodriguez (a two year letter winner), Alex Mendek , & Sara Jones. The other two are promising freshmen Julietta Solis and Jocelyn Caudillo.
These five will be the initial travel team , although Coach G expects that several others will be ready to tee off soon. And , of course , any other girls that want to come out for the team are welcome!
